Koinonia is a community that is dependent on it's members to be able to function well. For the 2024-25 school year, all members are asked to pay a $100 volunteer fee before registering for classes. This $100 (or more) can be earned back as a refund credit to their family's tuition account by completing service hours.

Students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteering students can earn free hot lunch vouchers ($3) or business gift cards ($10) in exchange for their service hours. Students will be given a punch card with stamps for each 1/2 hour worked. Please note, some shifts are labeled for specific ages or adults only.

Volunteer shifts can be selected using the Sign-Up Genius link below. Volunteers are responsible for signing in for their shift in order to receive the service credit as well as for finding their own subs, if unable to serve. SH Drama volunteering is a separate requirement for registrants of that class and will not be included in a family's general service hours.
